About
TARGET 1000 | 1000 Traineeships by 2028 | $500,000 for Support Programs
What is Target 1000?
Target 1000 is The Ready Foundation's initiative to provide 1,000 traineeships annually by 2028. This program addresses the challenges faced by disengaged youth, such as economic hardships, lack of mentorship and limited opportunities.
We seek to raise an additional $500,000 to provide comprehensive support through personalised mentorship, financial assistance, skill development, safe spaces and emotional support. Your contribution is crucial in transforming vulnerable young people’s lives and creating a brighter future.
A Message from our CEO
"Supporting vulnerable individuals through their education and employment journey is essential for individual and national prosperity. It directly correlates with higher income, better employment rates, improved health and reduced poverty and crime. Investing in tailored support not only enhances personal well-being and progression, but also saves billions in taxpayer dollars, making it a powerful tool for transforming lives and strengthening our economy. Join The Ready Foundation's goal of Target 1000 to ensure the most vulnerable aren't left behind."
OUR VISION
We envision a world where vulnerable young people overcome barriers, achieve their full potential, and live life without limits, supported by a compassionate community and comprehensive resources.
A Sense of Purpose
"These experiences have equipped me with valuable skills, providing me with a sense of purpose and direction for my future career."
