  • Topic: "The Lean Startup" by Eric Ries
    • Key concepts: Minimum Viable Product (MVP), Build-Measure-Learn, Pivot
    • Discussion on applying lean startup principles to student projects

 

12:30 PM - 1:30 PM: Lunch Break

 

1:30 PM - 2:30 PM: Lecture (100 students)

  • Topic: "Zero to One" by Peter Thiel
    • Key concepts: Unique value proposition, creating a monopoly, vertical progress vs. horizontal progress

 

2:30 PM - 2:45 PM: Afternoon Break

 

2:45 PM - 4:00 PM: Workshop (25 students each)

  • Workshop 1: Identifying Opportunities
    • Activity: Brainstorming session to identify potential entrepreneurial ideas and social issues
    • Teams form and select a project focus
    • Use AI tools to quickly generate ideas and personal prompts

 

Day 2: Entrepreneurial Mindset and Innovation

    • Key concepts: The Golden Circle, importance of purpose, leadership and inspiration

  • Workshop 2: Design Thinking
    • Introduction to the design thinking process
    • Activity: Empathy mapping and defining problems
    • Use AI tools for empathy mapping and problem-solving

1:30 PM - 2:30 PM: Lecture (100 students)

  • Topic: "The Art of the Start" by Guy Kawasaki
    • Key concepts: Pitching, positioning, branding, and launching

  • Workshop 3: Prototyping and Testing
    • Activity: Create prototypes of entrepreneurial and philanthropic ideas
    • Teams present prototypes to peer groups for initial feedback

Day 3: Building and Testing Ideas

  • Activity: Teams develop and practice their pitches
    • Use AI for feedback and pitch refinement
    • Mentors available for guidance

 

Day 4: Pitch Day and Networking

 

10:00 AM - 11:00 AM: Workshop (25 students each)

  • Workshop 5: Pitching Your Idea
    • Activity: Developing a compelling pitch
    • Focus on storytelling, presentation skills, and visual aids
    • Use AI for creating pitch materials and practicing presentations

 

11:00 AM - 11:30 AM: Morning Tea Break

 

11:30 AM - 12:30 PM: Final Pitch Preparations

  • Teams finalize their pitches with mentor feedback
  • Use AI tools for final adjustments and practice

 

12:30 PM - 1:30 PM: Lunch Break

 

1:30 PM - 3:00 PM: Final Pitch Presentations (100 students)

  • Teams present their entrepreneurial and philanthropic ideas to a panel of judges
    • Format: 10-minute presentation followed by 5-minute Q&A

 

3:00 PM - 3:15 PM: Afternoon Break

 

3:15 PM - 4:00 PM: Networking Event and Awards Ceremony

  • Opportunity to network with industry professionals, mentors, and peers
  • Panel discussion with successful entrepreneurs and philanthropists
  • Announcement of the winning team and recognition of all participants
  • Presentation of certificates and project feedback
